I went through the drive-thru line at Chic Fil A and noticed, as I often do when I shop at the plaza, that the two lines are always long and wind out to the service road. I wouldn’t want that job but I’d like to compliment the security officers and the Chic Fil A staff that stay out side and make the wait as convenient for us patrons as they possibly can. I asked the security guards if they ever notice how busy the restaurant always is and how the traffic at times backs up all the way to the road. The security guard told me they were aware and that is why they are there, to make sure the public act appropriately so the staff can give fast and efficient service. I appreciate that the Security guards and Chic Fil A staff are aware that due to their high volume of patrons at all times and Covid sometimes people’s emotions can get the best of them and they act out of frustration or anger. What I did not know is the Security guards and staff have nothing to due with controlling the road or the traffic. They are there to protect the building, the staff and the parking lot that belongs to their business. I appreciate this company’s professionalism and kindness while keeping the restaurant safe during this pandemic.
